The keyboard for 2nd gen Apple TV remote app isn’t coming up.

I’m using a 2nd Gen Apple TV. When I performed an iOS software update, Apple forced me off the remote app and into the control centre version of the remote, which meant I had to then go and get another bloody apple remote just to be able to set up my phone as a remote again.

Now, the control centre version of Apple Remote doesn’t pull up the keyboard when you opt to type using the iPhone keyboard. Like, this has been so infuriating man.

The Apple TV Remote widget in Control Center is unfortunately not compatible with Apple TV (2nd generation), only 3rd generation or later. For Apple TV (2nd generation), you’ll have to use the physical remote.
