My phone keeps using the prefix from Belgium instead of the Uk prefix. My location is set up to the uk and my dial assist is switched on.

Why is my Region being changed to Belgium instead of United Kingdom I noticed that when trying to add friend's address, my iphone region (used to be United Kingdom), has been changed to Belgium after softward updated few months ago. When I checked my setting settings > general > language and region > which clearly shown: Region - United Kingdom but when trying to enter friend's address, the region has already automatically set to Belgium??? Thank you. JX

Use the steps in the following resource to make sure that the latest carrier settings have been installed:

Manually update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad

If the issue persists, restart your iPhone. Restarting can resolve many unexpected behaviors.

Restart your iPhone
