AirPods stoped working and the case has stoped charging

I’m not sure if this is correct place. I have some AirPods less then 12 months old they have stoped working and the case has stoped charging. I called Apple support and was told to take them into shop on Thursday .. I bought them from a third party, they couldn’t tell me the answer, if I take them into Apple shop will I get new ones or will they fix the broken ones.. because Apple customer service don’t know.
