Keyboard Caps Lock Light Is Out

Is there a way to turn the caps lock light back on? Or is the keyboard malfunctioning?

This iMac is: 24-inch, M1, 2021

Thanx. I did something a little simpler: I turned the keyboard off... and back on again. Solved the problem (so far....)

I have iMac less than one year old and just started caps lock light will only go on if keyboard is plugged into the iMac! VERY annoying. Touch ID is flaky too: I continually need to use my password
