Macbook air m1 chipset

Hey guys,

I am using my macbook air m1 chipset with an external monitor and I am using a convertor to use that monitor. Can I charge my macbook at the same time while I use the external monitor?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.0

Hello mgsharier,

Thanks for reaching out to us in Apple Support Communities about using an externalmonitor with your MacBook Air. We're happy to help by looking into this more!

Here's a resource that can help:

Use an external display with your MacBook Air

Your MacBook Air has 2 USB-C ports. You can use one of the ports for the output to your monitor and you can use the other to charge your MacBook Air.

Hope this helps.

Best Regards.
