Apple watch series 7 - elevation

Hi,

I have some issues with the elevation on my apple watch series 7, I´m at sea level, at it´s showing my elevation at 1500 meters. It does this both for regular usage, compass and exercises.

Any suggestions or someone with similar issues?

Apple Watch 6 elevation / barometer not working Hi everybody, I got my new Apple Watch 6 yesterday, everything's working as expected except the elevation (eg. in the compass app). The weird thing is that position (lat + long) is displayed correctly. Instead of showing the current elevation, it only shows ---. I did research the whole evening yesterday, went through a dozen of guides, but the issue persists. I also didn't find anybody having three dashes displayed, most people experiencing issues had "0" shown for elevation or accuracy problems. The watch is paired with my iPhone 8 Plus. Apple watch altimeter i went to a trip around the mountains yesterday and since then my watch keeps telling me a wrong altitude (whereas my phone altitude is right). Now at my home the altitude is wrong of about 700 meters. If i download a third party app the altitude is right. What is the problem here? What do I do? Just wait for the next update? anyway I have a watch se 40mm gps + cellular

Apple Watch 5 new onset elevation gain problem i have an AW 5 which has worked perfectly, but now shows wildly inaccurate elevation gain. Yesterday we hiking a relatively flat 3 mile loop, and the watch recorded a 47,000 foot elevation gain! All the other data was correct. I’ve never had this problem before. Is this a bug in the latest update iOS 8.4.2.?
