i bought my iPhone from a friend who was using it for a while, and am using the iPhone now with my own new apple ID, and i want to know if it is possible for my friend to have installed a hidden keylogger in my iPhone before he soled it to me.

We recommend restoring a device to factory settings prior to selling or giving it away. If this was done all of the previous owners apps and content will be removed from the iPhone.
