Airpods Max: Only one ear working on Mac

I am having a problem with my AirpodsMax. After the Monterey update to Mac my headphones will only fire up on the right side when they are connected to my MacBook. They dont work all together when connecting to google meet via Safari. For whatever reason they work fully (both sides) when connected to Google Meet via Chrome (The only instance that I have found them to be fully functional).

When they are connected to my other Apple devices they work perfectly (iPad Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max)

I have tried hard resetting the headphones and restarting my computer and the problem still persists.

Has anyone had the same problems since the Monterey OS update? Any solutions out there for this problem?

Attached is my Mac info.

Been having this exact same issue since Monterey upgrade. Max is completely unusable now. Thankfully I have AirPods Pro which seem to be working fine. I tried the Airplay Receiver trick someone else found here but it didn't fix the issue. Now I'm trying to push the update to the firmware that the Pros got over the last few days, maybe that will fix it. But this is bad. I use the Max every day for work.
