I tried from my new iPhone to delete the old documents saved in iCloud but nothing happens it just takes me back again to the previous step without deleting , the problem is the documents were from iPhone 4 that is dead & I never use , so I need suggestions plz

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Wondering which app was used to create the documents you want to delete.
Apple Support have articles online that may (or may not) help.
(Sorry I don't know what happens if iCloud can't delete the original file from the old iPhone 4.)
