I have two 4k monitors connected to a OWC Thunderbolt Dock and when I wake my MacBook Pro Monterey 12.0.1 (21A559) the screens just flash over and over for a min failing to wake up.
did not have this issue with the previous version of OSX.

These are some known issues with the new Monterey
I would simply wait for a point update to the macOS 12.0.1 to sort these issues reported here—you are not alone
