Triple click Accessibility Shortcut stops working for Guided Access
I have Guided Access turned on with the Accessibility Shortcut. I use it mainly on FaceTime, where I have Guided Access set up to only allow the Volume buttons to be used. Obviously I have a passcode set, but have also set it up to deactivate Guided Access using Face ID as well.
Periodically, the triple click shortcut stops working to activate Guided Access. I have to restart my phone to restore the ability to enter Guided Access.
I believe it is an issue ONLY with Guided Access because I have tested the triple click shortcut with other Accessibility features - ex. Smart Invert, Reduce White Point and Magnifier.
Case 1 (when functioning properly):
Guided Access only set as enabled for Accessibility Shortcut. Triple click activates Guided Access as expected.
Case 2 (when functioning properly):
Guided Access and Smart Invert set as features enabled for Accessibility Shortcut. Triple click displays prompt with both Guided Access and Smart Invert.
Case 1 (bug that periodically occurs):
Guided Access only set as enabled for Accessibility Shortcut. Triple click does not produce any result. Guided Access does not activate and no prompt displayed.
Case 2 (bug):
Guided Access and Smart Invert set as features enabled for Accessibility Shortcut. Triple click activates Smart Invert. No prompt is displayed to choose Guided Access or Smart Invert.
note: in the cases above, I use Smart Invert, but this is simply an example. Any of the Accessibility Features produce the same result.
Once this bug has occurred, Guided Access is never again available until the iPhone is restarted.
I noticed this in previous iOS version, however I am currently running 15.1.1 and am still experiencing it.
