Quicklook not working

I'm on Big Sur 11.6.1. When I spacebar for Quicklook, the full preview doesn't pop up. It only shows a filename and thumbnail. It's the same for all files I've checked (docx, pptx, xlsx, pdf, eml).

I tried following this thread (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250911685?answerId=252100506022#252100506022) but it doesn't work. Couldn't find anything with my OS, so this was closest. Anyone have suggestions for how I can fix this?

Below is from the thread with my notes in bold.

    1. Open the folder with system Quick Look generators - "/System/Library/QuickLook". -- FOUND IT
    2. Copy "Office.qlgenerator" to "/Library/QuickLook" (this is folder for third-party generators). --ALREADY THERE SO NOTHING TO COPY.
    3. Rename "Office.qlgenerator" to any unique name - for example, "MSOffice.qlgenerator". -- COULDN'T CHANGE THE NAME
    4. Restart Quick Look daemon with terminal command "qlmanage -r".
