Mac Mini & Photoshop

Hi

I have a mid 2012 15" MacBook Pro, which is no longer compatible with the latest version of Photoshop 2022 owing to its (welded) graphics processor.

I am therefore in a position where I need to upgrade my system and was thinking of the Mac Mini. I see that most of these come with 8gb of RAM. Does anyone know if this is sufficient to run Photoshop, given that the Mini has the new M1 chip?

Excuse my ignorance, I've not upgraded for a while and its a bit like moving house, I guess!

Thanks in advance.

You can special order 16 GB of RAM with an M1 Mac.

Are you sure you don't want to consider one of the new MacBook Pros with an M1 Pro or M1 Max?
