Got a new iPad and all my music loaded to iTunes from CDs is now gone on Apple Music

I had 100 albums loaded from CDs to iTunes years ago, and when I upgraded to a new iPad those albums are now gone in Apple Music. The playlists are still there, but they are empty - except that one U2 album that no one asked for. I do not subscribe to Apple Music and so had not synced them up. I assume I’m just SOL, but any thoughts on how to get them back without going through the whole CD upload process again would be much appreciated.

I assume you got them on your old iPad through iTunes with a computer. Are they still in your music library on your computer? If so, just sync them to your iPad:

Otherwise you will have to go through the whole CD upload process again. Sorry.
