That’s what I’ve been following.
When I tell it to open (access) Google Drive, it tells me that I need to authenticate through the Google Drive app. I use the link on that page to open Google Drive and my fingerprint to log into Google Drive, but when I click back to Files it says the same thing.
The solution turned out to be to open the application from the file in gdrive.

I'm not getting that when I try. Did you open the Google Drive app first and authenticate in the Google App?
