Lossless AIFF Query
Any chance my music CDs imported as lossless or AIFF files stay that way or or must they be converted to ACC when they move to my iPhone or iPad?

If you sync with iTunes (or Music in Catalina or later) then the files should transfer as they are. When you use iCloud Music Library as part of Apple Music or iTunes Match then you typically get 256K AAC copies delivered, unless you're able to get the new lossless streams for matched content that Apple can now provide.
