Why do I still have two Apple ID addresses?

Hi, I would like to ask why do I still have two apple ID addresses?

When I was creating my apple ID, I used one email. Since I was not recieving the code to verify the account I was asked to add another e-mail address, which I did.

Now am not sure which one is correct.

Is there a possibility to "start over" the whole process and to have only one apple ID? If yes, please advise me how.

I am also a new user of IOS system.
