Every now and then when I, or my wife on her MacBook, try to share a website from Safari through the sharing button to iMessage the Send or Cancel do not respond. The only way to exit this is to fysically press the escape button. Sharing is not possible this way.

We understand that you're not always able to share content. Restart your Mac. Make sure your Mac is running the latest available software version in Apple menu () > About This Mac > Overview.
Restart your Mac in safe mode. Safe mode limits the login items allowed to run while running a health check of the disk. Check for the behavior in safe mode, restart to your normal user account.
