15.1 changes to Maps

I really don't like the changes one they made to restricting the audio options. I can't get the maps app to connect to my truck bluetooth or my hearing aids. Both show they are connected to my phone in Settings but no audio directions. I see several others are complaining as well. I hate to lose everything on my phone by hitting reset. Any suggestions?

Volume controls in Apple Maps while using CarPlay with iOS 16 Before iOS 16, under Settings / Maps, there was a Navigation & Guidance control, which allowed you to adjust the volume of the CarPlay Apple Maps voice. I can’t find these controls in iOS 16. Maps audio In iOS 14 while using maps and having my phone plugged in while in the car I could choose what audio output I wanted through maps. Ie the cable or Bluetooth. Now in iOS 15 maps I cannot figure out how to switch audio outputs. Can you tell me how ?

No voice guidance in Maps Recently I stopped getting voice navigation prompts in Apple Maps app. I'm getting voice guidance in Waze--but not Maps. I can't find a place to turn this on or off, beyond three settings under Settings / Maps: "Directions Paus Podcasts" "Directions Wake Device" "Directions on Radio" All three of these are currently On, but maps is silent, on the phone and in CarPlay. Help would be much appreciated!
