first time apple watch user, trying to try out the ECG feature but when i start the process it says that its not available in my region even though i selected the US as my region, any help with this? Thanks
Hard to say why it works for your friend, but it shouldn't. If the government in your region has not approved the ECG feature on Apple Watch, it should not work there at all.
Yes to both questions, but i am currently outside the US. My friend though who bought and owns an apple watch outside the US isnt having an issues with the ECG feature
Yes i guess the region here doesn’t support it, but i wonder why it worked with my friend who also is in the same region as i am and bought his watch outside the US

Was your your phone and watch bought in the US?.
Is your software fully updated?.
When you go out of the US your phone automatically detects the region you are in,are you in a region that doesn't support ECG?.
