I usually keep my iphone on do not disturb but with this new update it actually TELLS people that I am texting that my phone is silenced. Is there a way to turn off that feature? I don’t need other people knowing my business like that.

Open Settings ➔ Focus ➔ Do Not Disturb ➔ Focus Status ➔ Share Focus Status: Set this to OFF.

If you goto:
SETTINGS > FOCUS > DO NOT DISTURB > FOCUS STATUS > SHARE FOCUS STATUS > Turn the slider to off.
