I have an iPhone 7 Plus with 14.8.1 and recently noticed the battery drains much quicker than usual. So I had Apple install a new battery but it still is draining faster than it use to. I have taken all the recommended steps to prevent the higher battery usage but nothing seems to help so far. Is it because of an update? Any ideas? Thanks

The first step is to update to the latest version of iOS 15. Then see this:
With any new version of iOS there are always maintenance and re-indexing tasks to be performed. It should settle down in a few days. These are the standard steps for short battery life
1) Have you tried a restart? If not, do it now.
2) Go to Settings > Battery > BATTERY USAGE BY APP to see the apps that are consuming your battery.
3) Check “Battery Health” in the link:
