Sort by Artist Album Year,

Can't seem to find how to sort by Artist / Album.

Would like to sort by original release year. Option under view is greyed out.

Slab,

If you are in Songs view, click the column header several time to cycle through "Album," "Album by Artist," and "Album by Artist/Year."

Sort song view by Album Artist and then album year chronologically Hi, I'm sure I used to be able to sort song view in music by Album Artist first, then all the albums be in year order. For example, Album Artist is 'A' and they have had 3 album releases so those are in the order of the 1st album release first (at the top of the view) then the rest in chronological order of year so their latest album release is the last one. Pretty sure I used to click the album artist column header so it was in ascending order. Then I would click the 'album' column header a few times and it sorted into 'album artist/year. This doesn't seem to be working now as the album header only sorts one of these ways; album album by artist album by artist/year I'm sure it used to sort by album artist by year I have the latest OS (Monterey 12.4 and Music 1.2.4) Has Apple removed this or am I missing something? Thanks in advance

Sort Albums on Apple Music by release year? Hey - is there an option to sort albums on iOS and iPad OS by release year? It’s a simple option but I just can find sorting by added, Title and artist.

Sorting albums chronologically in Music App Hi. I was wondering if there was a way to sort your albums chronologically (say by year made) in your artists list. If I have more than say two albums of one artist, I cannot have them listed in a yearly order. Anyone have an idea if this is possible? Thanks.

Yes, it only applies in your library. If you are browsing in Apple Music, the view options are very limited.

Thanks, That may work for music in my library, but what about just browsing AppleMusic. It's just showing Album art when I click show all Albums from a particular Artist. Don't see a way to show list view.
