iPhone restore with i

This morning my i iPhone was black and wouldn't respond. I connected to my iMac with a lightning cord, and found I could upgrade system or restore. It wouldnt let me upgrade so I chose restore. After a while my iPhone responded and I did the restore, which included an upgrade to iOS 15. When this FINALLY completed it told me to back up from my iMac or iCloud, I chose iCloud which took a while.

After mostly resorting my apps on my desktop, I checked for restored contents. I had to manually rejoine my music app Stingray and it finally worked. But when I checked iCal I found nothing had restored. Out of desperation I shut down both my iMac and iPhone to see if that would work.

On starting up my iPhone it told me I had to restore it, so I went through the almost hour long restore again. My calendar has still not transported all my desktop iCal events. Do I have to manually re=enter everything on my iPhone iCal?
