Inconsistent white balance in 2021 M1 MacBook Pro 14” and 16”

I have 16” and 14” MacBook Pro. The white balance on 16” has unpleasant green bias which is obvious. The 14” has a slight magenta bias when compared to 16” side by side. I think the 14” with magenta bias is unnoticeable on its own and looks normal. The green bias on 16” is very obvious on its own and gives perception of lesser contrast.

Hello Barkat,

We see you have concerns regarding the white balance in your Mac's display, and we'd like to help out.

First, check out System Preferences > Displays, and see if both Macs are utilizing True Tone. If so, see if enabling that or disabling helps here. You can also check here to see if they're using the same presets, which is just below True Tone.

Additionally, try testing things in different lighting environments, to see if there's improvement when the Mac is in a well-lit room.

If none of the above helps, you can try reaching out to Apple Support directly for further investigation: Get Support

Cheers.
