iPhone 13 pro sound issues during phone calls

I see several similar questions out there, but can't seem to find the fix...ever since I got my iPhone 13pro, callers cannot hear me (sometimes not at all or sometimes not clearly) when I am using bluetooth in my car OR on speakerphone. It consistently works fine with AirPods or picking up my phone to take a phone call. Same with FaceTime...AirPods work great, they cannot hear me on speaker. I have checked every setting I can think of, but this has been a problem for almost 2 months now and I'd love to get it fixed. Same results with or without the case on the phone. I saw the different settings in FaceTime for voice isolation, etc and have tried all with no success. Not sure if same settings are available using bluetooth because, well, that's when I'm driving and I'm not looking at my phone.

It is not a problem with sound on my end. It’s the person on the other phone that cannot hear me. And it’s everyone. Not just one person.
