I can’t find the camera button in notes

i followed the instructions for scanning a document in notes, however, I cannot see the camera button.

iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 14

Hello Mlzy21, In Notes start a new Note > Press the camera icon just above the keypad > Then three options pop up. First One is Choose photo or video. Next is Take photo or video. And last option is Scan Documents.

Hello Beg1950, The scan feature is to scan a hardcopy of a document to put in your notes. You can't scan a file that is already in your notes. If you open a file in notes and press the camera icon you get three options. First is "Choose Photo or Video". If you choose a picture or video it is appended to the file in your notes. The next is "Take Photo or Video" and append or add it to your file in notes. The third one is "Scan Documents" a hard copy to append to your file in notes. Make sense?
