M1 MacBook Pro Hide Notch in Screen Saver?

I don't mind the notch in the M1 MacBook Pro for the most part, but I like to play the built-in "classic" screen saver with photos I've taken, and the notch is no good for that since it cuts into the images. Since the screen saver isn't an "app" it's not possible as far as I can see to make it behave like other fullscreen apps and shrink the viewing window below the notch. Any thoughts how to possibly fix this, beyond submitting it as a request to Apple, which I've already done? I can't regenerate the photos with a black bar at the top, they're all different resolutions and I use them for other things where that would be a problem.

How do either of those apply to the screen saver? It's not an "app" it's a built-in system extension/engine/framework.
