USB-C Digital AV Adapter not working with IPad Pro 11inc 2021

I have an IPad pro 2021 11inc model and it is having issues with the USB-C Digital AV Adapter (bought it from apple.ca) when I am using it with Elgato HD60s and mirroring the screen in OBS Studio. It will keep disconnecting with the error "no signal" every few minutes and then I will have to unplug and plug again, restart OBS, restart IPad or restart the PC. Still, it will work sometimes and sometimes it stays on the same error screen "no signal".

Before buying this IPad I used iPhone 11 pro max with Lightning Digital AV Adapter and it worked like a charm. Looks like there is no problem with Elgato HD60s, PC, OBS or HDMI cable I am using to connect the adapter with Elgato HD60s.

I have also seen a few others having exact same issue, one of them also approached me through my Youtube Channel.

Is this some compatibility issue? or this IPad is faulty?

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having some issues with a 'no signal' error when you are using a USB-C Digital AV Adapter to connect your iPad to your PC.

It sounds like you've worked to eliminate issues with other components. Is there another adapter that you can try? If so, does anything similar happen? That can help to isolate the issue to either the iPad or the adapter. Try the troubleshooting in About Apple Digital AV Adapters for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Tanjeets,

If you haven't already, try a few different video sources as well to make sure that it isn't happening with a certain app. If this happens with all apps after that steps that you've tried, it may be best to contact Apple Support. You can reach out from Get Support or using the direct phone number for your region from Contact Apple for support and service.

Same issue with me and 5 of my friends, i think that we lost our money buying the ipad m1 !!!!!

Hi Faith,

Yes, I tried 4-5 different adapters before buying the original one from Apple. Third-party had different issues, some wouldn't charge the iPad while using HDMI, 1 of them were not showing anything and 1 had screen tearing issues. I bought them from BestBuy and Amazon.
