macbook pro stuck on apple loading screen trying to install the latest update. Cannot click on the trackpad. been stuck for 6 hours

began installing the latest update on MacBook Pro for 6 hours and have been stuck on this screen since.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.0
