Childs screentime doesn't work since latest ios update

I have screentime set up for my childs phone, downtime set and app limits set. We have both updated to the latest ios 15.1.1. Prior to that screentime worked with no issues at all and if she was on downtime or ran out of time on an app she had to request time. Since the latest update it doesn't work at all. On my end she is on downtime and still has app limits, however she has unlimited usage on her end, was on it all day while technically on downtime, and app limits didn't matter, they were unlimited.

Please let me know what the fix is for this or if there will be a new ios update to fix this situation. Many others are having the exact same situation. I even turned off screen time and then set it up again brand new and it still does not work.

Hello krista62374,

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are having an issue with Screen Time with your child's device. To help with this, please check settings for Screen Time and the info in this Apple resource, temporarily disable Screen Time, restart both devices and setup again, and then contact Apple directly if you need any further assistance.
