Cadillac CTS usb/Aux Adapter to 30 pin/Lightnening Stops working with IOS15

The adapter that connects to my car is a usb and Aux to 30 pin adapter.

To that I connect a 30 pin to Lightning adapter.

When ios 15 came out this stopped working all together.

I downgraded to ios 14.8 and it worked.

When ios 15.1 came out I upgraded to that thinking that maybe there was a fix to it. There is not.

At this point you can not go back to ios 14 at all.

Did apple do something to the port to not allow these 30 Pin to Lightning adapters?

Let's start by checking out this article for How to connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your car and be sure there are not any updates needed directly from Cadillac for the car stereo. Also, please check if the adapter works in another vehicle or with another connection. Does the issue happen with the adapter removed and connecting directly to the car stereo with a Lightning to USB cable?
