UPS delivered an empty box today, iPhone 13 Pro Max stolen

Today, I received a shipment from UPS of what it supposed to be my iPhone 13 Pro Max. My wife asked the UPS delivery person if she needed to sign anything but the answer was NO. For our surprise, the box empty. I called Apple Support right away, and they promptly offered me to ship another iPhone with Fedex at this time or issue me a refund. I want the iPhone so I asked them if I could pick it up at the nearest store. The customer service specialist opened an investigation and will try the best option to fulfill my needs. She also told me that I will receive a phone call or email within 24 hours. It's really sad what is going on with big delivery companies like UPS not being able to be trusted for delivering expensive items. Never more!!!
