focus mode on iPhone

I can’t seem to get the Focus mode to work on my iPhone 6sPlus. I’m running iOS 15.1, which is the most current update. Specifically, when Do Not Disturb is on, repeated calls do NOT get through. I get a notification on the screen, but the phone doesn’t ring. I WANT it to ring with repeated calls from the same number, but instead every call is silenced. And yes, the Allow Repeated Calls option is turned on. It just doesn’t seem to work. Any ideas? Is my phone just too old? I rely on that option to allow me to sleep but not miss anything urgent. Thanks

Im sorry to hear you’re going through this.

Please keep in mind that only repeated calls within the timeframe of “3 Minutes” won’t be silenced. Meaning if the repeated calls you’re getting are longer than 3 Minutes apart they will be silenced as well.

Also once you look at the top of the option “Allow repeated calls” you have the option to “allow incoming calls from…” which sometimes could be on “Favorites”. This could also trigger why all your calls are silent. You can simply change that to “Everyone” and your calls should come through.
