Hi, As the subject states the question.
Does the Magsafe 3 also can transfer data (for use on a docking station) ?
Can a docking station have data & power the Macbook pro over USB-C (all or one port) ?

MagSafe (all flavors) for all practical purposes are power-only.
USB-C ports and cables can have Power Delivery in addition to data, ands some docking stations can supply that power.
You need to shop carefully, as some cables have no power conductors, some have very weak power conductors that do not carry a practical amount of power, and the default Mac cable is a Charge-ONLY cable, that does not have any high-speed data connections.
