Apple Trade in is not allowed with Magic Keyboard

Was going to trade in my iPad Air to upgrade to the iPad Pro over the holidays but see that there is no trade in allowed on the magic keyboard or case so have decided that it is not worth the move. What a waste to not offer a trade in value on these items since I would definitely need the new keyboard and case as well. Oh well I’ll keep what i have and Apple loses another sale.
