FCPX not seeing .CRM files

I'm using FCPX 10.4.7 on MAC OS 10.15.7 and trying to import supplied .CRM files but they are not showing up in FCPX import window. I downloaded the CANON Cinema RAW Light software but got a "installer has detected Apple Software installed on this computer that is not compatible with the Canon RAW" error.

The files do show up in Adobe Premiere but I want to use FCPX.

Any ideas?

Trouble with Canon Raw .crm file FCPX 10.4.8 I have a Canon Raw .crm file as source. I downloaded and installed Canon Raw Plug In 1.3 for FXP-X, restarted computer. Using the import command, I can locate and select the .crm file for import, but the preview window only shows a purple screen. If I import the file, I get the audio but only a solid purple screen for video. This same file imports and displays correctly in Premiere on the same computer. DTD version is not recognised" Hello Apple Community, I have created a project in iMovie and I need to send it to Final Cut Pro to get it exported in 4K Resolution. But when I try to do that, it gives me the error "The XML document sent from application "iMovie" could not be imported. DTD version is not recognised" I'm on the latest version of macOS and both iMovie and Final Cut Pro are up-to-date. Please could someone help me? Thank you.

iMovie Library XXX is already in use by XXXX I have a 2015 iMac and iMovie support for this version stopped sometime back. I have a 2 tera byte file with home movies that I wish to access. However, the system keeps returning the message “iMovie Library XXX” is already in use by XXX. How do I overcome this issue?

It’s possible that you need an older version of the Canon RAW software. What’s the release date of that version?
