RAID and JBOD drives randomly not mounting

I've got a few different drives in my Mac Pro 2019, from the Promise Disk 8TB drive to some NVME and Raid & JBOD drives. I'm noticing that two of the drives sometimes don't appear at startup - a 4TB RAID (Made up of 4 x 1TB NVME drives on 2 x dual PCIe cards) and a 3TB JBOD (made up of a 2TB NVME and a 1TB NVME).

They never disappear at the same time, and most times they both appear at startup, so it's really random. Also today I noticed that the 4TB RAID disconnected itself whilst the Mac Pro was in sleep.

What's most annoying is when I try to mount them through disk utility, it states "Invalid disk".

Does anyone know why they would randomly appear and disappear? I need to connect them due to having to sync to a 4TB database and a 3TB group of files.

Any help appreciated.

How old are these drives ? The issue could be the Bad Blocks on any member of the RAID set.

My experience has been that drives in a RAID array must continue to be "perfect", or the RAID array first may not Mount, then may be reported as "'degraded" . If you want to keep using it, may need to rebuild a mirrored, or replace drives on a striped array or JBOD.

The drives are new. A few months old. Same as the pcie cards. When it first happened I reformatted the drives and redid the raid.

The 4TB raid is 4 x 1TB WD Blue SN550 NVME drives. On 2 x Lycom DT-130 Dual PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD Carrier Adapters.

The JBOD is 1TB WD Blue SN550 NVME drive + 2TB Sabrent Rocket Q NVME. Both on Sabrent NVMe M.2 SSD to PCIe Cards with aluminum heat sinks.
