Apple Music doesn’t want to play on TV

Does anyone know how to get Apple Music to stream to the TV from Airplay to work?

App works great on my phone and used to be able to stream normally using airplay and now it will connect to the TV, look like it’s playing the song but no sound is working. I tried with YouTube, HBOMax and Netflix and it works fine. It’s just Apple Music.

Any ideas how to get it work again?

We certainly want to help get you back to enjoying music, so let's start with ruling out some basics:

You mentioned this only occurs with Apple Music, and only when using your iPhone to stream audio from Apple Music to your Apple TV. Have you tested only using the Apple Music app on each device to see if there were any issues?
As you have a compatible model, the latest version is iOS 15.1.1. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. Here's a link that'll show how to first back up, then Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
