Brand new Macbook Pro 2021 - M1 one week of use. Why am I getting ‘Your system has run out of application memory`?
I'm only running 5 apps in the MB range and none are heavy editing apps. They are browsers and small task apps.

To determine what's causing it, you'll need to check your memory usage in Activity Monitor. View memory usage in Activity Monitor on Mac
Once you do that, you should be able to see which application(s) are using up memory; then from there would need to find a way to decrease their memory usage. Having an almost full SSD can also be part of what can cause this to happen.

The computer is brand new. The only application downloaded and used is a browser. The SSD is not even close to full. As you can see from the multiple cases of others with brand new systems experiencing the same issue - this is a flaw with the M1's and it needs to be addressed.
