Macbook air m1 display glitches

Hello, I keep getting these graphic glitches when using my macbook air m1.

Normally these only appear when i'm using safari and I'm able to just close the safari window to get rid of it but today when I came back to my computer after I was gone for a few hours it persisted outside safari and made it impossible to navigate my computer, I had to hold down the power button to power off.

It occurs when i'm booted into safe mode as well.

I've tried to disable everything under battery option such as low power mode etc, it also happens with both true tone & night shift on or off.
