Internet issues when I toggle 3G on

Apples answer does not help… I have also visited the company I am subscribed to for my mobile service and I they are baffled.


this does not always happen but I noticed that when I toggle to 3G only then I get mobile internet on the phone. Then I would need to toggle back to 4G and mobile internet keeps on working.


This is very strange @Apple!!

Hi PietruMT,


We see your mobile data only works intermittently, namely if you toggle to 3G and then back to 4G.


Our first recommendation would be to ensure your iPhone is fully updated:


After confirming your device is updated, go to Settings > General > About while connected to a Wi-Fi network, and if you have a carrier settings update, install that as well.


Should the issue persist beyond that, for an issue with your cellular data or signal, we'd recommend you continue to work with your carrier.
