Junk mail

Mail that you delete, junk or not, automatically goes to the trash.

To delete it permanently you must go to the trash folder and do it from there.

That depends on the email service that you are using. Some email services permanently delete junk email when delete while others place the deleted/emptied junk folder emails in Trash.
