If you can't find an updated driver for your printer give the open-source, free Gutenprint driver a try.

Try the HP Smart App on the Mac App Store. It's solved problems recently with others. Or use AirPrint as most modern printers support AirPrint. If you have a legacy printer, try Gimp Print or if your printer supports PostScript, use the generic PostScript driver.

Best asking HP as this is their Software and Printer.

They, like may other Manufacturers have had a lot of time to Test the Beta Versions of Monterey well before it was released .
