Add special characters to dictionary for apple pencil handwriting recognition?

Hello,

I am very impressed by the Notes app and its ability to convert my chicken scratch handwriting from ipad pencil into text. I get the impression that it is also learning new terms that I use (like "endocytosis" or "Arp2/3 complex"). But it is having trouble with special characters: I would like it to recognize my use of brackets around a word, e.g. [[my phrase]] . This is for use in other notetaking apps. But so far it just tries to turn it into a word.

In my other favorite handwriting recognition app, Nebo, you can add specific words or characters to their handwriting recognition dictionary (but only manually and one by one!)

Soo, is there any way to add special characters for Apple's handwriting recognition for apple pencil? Or can I teach it which words and characters I use? (You could imagine that being useful to improve their handwriting recognition...)
