iPhone music connectivity issues with BMW

After updating my iPhone operating system I can no longer access my playlist from Apple Music. Every time I start the car it pairs and then starts shuffling songs. I have to press play on my phone for the audio to play, and also select tracks, playlists from my phone directly.


This is 2nd time this apple/BMW related issue has happened. It’s very frustrating.
