When I change to an iPhone 12 from and iPhone XR, and the iCloud is full in my XR, how do I temporarily get to have more space before I switch phones?

When you purchase a new iPhone then you Get temporary iCloud storage so that you can upload your data from your old iPhone and then transfer it to your new iPhone.
