Is there a way to prevent apps from zooming in on their own?

After installing iOS 15, I noticed that when opening apps on my iPad, some apps would be randomly zoomed in. I have noticed this happen with YouTube, Gmail, Safari, and even the Settings app. What (other than restarting apps or my device) can be done to fix the issue?.

We understand you'd like to turn the zoom off on your device. We're happy to offer some guidance.

To disable the zoom, go to Settings > Accessibility > Zoom, then turn off Zoom.
