My iPad is frozen

My ipad is frozen on the white screen and black apple. Tried hard reset but hasn't seemed to work. Won't connect to iTunes. Any help appreciated.

Hello,

I am sorry to hear about that. You can use recovery mode to try and restore the device since it is on the Apple logo boot screen and not being recognized by your computer.

  1. Follow the steps here to put your iPad in recovery mode: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT212787
  2. If it still does not get recognized by the computer, use a different Apple branded or third party MFI certified cable and check to see if your computer’s USB port and iPad’s charging port are clean. If you have multiple USB ports on your computer you can try each one.
  3. After the iPad is done with the recovery mode process, you can use a recent backup (if you have one) to restore your iPad with it and get your data back. More info here: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT204184

Good luck!
