Migration assistant says Edge must be shut down.

Migration assistant says Edge must be shut down. It is shut down and windows is updated and I have restarted. Still won't take me past shut down Edge. Any advice?

I agree this is not 100 percent clear. Are you migrating from a Windows computer as shown in your equipment profile, or a Mac??


If migrating from a Mac, Edge may be in its User login items and will restart every time the computer does. That is an easy fix
