Migration assistant says Edge must be shut down. It is shut down and windows is updated and I have restarted. Still won't take me past shut down Edge. Any advice?

I agree this is not 100 percent clear. Are you migrating from a Windows computer as shown in your equipment profile, or a Mac??
If migrating from a Mac, Edge may be in its User login items and will restart every time the computer does. That is an easy fix
Okay, please carefully read the instruction in the link at the top of this page. DO NOT use wi-fi to migrate too much data. If you still have trouble you can call AppleCare, as we have no idea where you are located you can use the link below to find the phone number in your country.
